Bastion focuses on providing financing solutions to companies in the consumer and business to business lending sectors. We will own consumer loans through CSO lending activities in Texas and Ohio. We also provide on-balance sheet financing to small and middle-sized alternative finance companies. We focus on companies with strong sponsorship and talented management teams. We have a strong track record of closing deals on the terms and within the time frame initially indicated.
John J. Braden
Jay Braden co-founded Bastion Consumer Funding in 2013. Mr. Braden, CEO, oversees the Firm’s fund raising, deal origination and portfolio monitoring activities. Prior to Bastion, Mr. Braden was president of Castillo LLC, an investment management firm. He had a 20 year career in leveraged finance; most recently as Head of High Yield Capital Markets at Wachovia Securities.
Mr. Braden received a BA from Roanoke College and an MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
Timothy J. Reimink
Tim Reimink co-founded Bastion Consumer Funding in 2013. Mr. Reimink, Senior VP, oversees the Firm’s CSO platform as well as regulatory compliance, treasury management and accounting functions. Prior to Bastion, Mr. Reimink worked in business development for an international wealth management company where he originated and structured over $4 billion in investments. Prior thereto, he was an associate at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in the investment banking division.
Mr. Reimink received a BA from Indiana University and an MBA from The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
